Born in Milan, raised on rebellion.
Since 2019, SVETA MILANO has been crafting timeless, limited-edition pieces for women who dress with attitude. Our maverick style thrives on juxtapositions - silk with raw edges, cashmere with a punk twist, fluid drape with sharp cut, glam sparkle with underground grit.
From our debut Fall/Winter 2019 collection, awarded the Inside White Award at White Milano for its bold originality, we’ve refused to follow trends. Instead, we create seasonless designs - knitwear, outerwear, dresses and skirts - that carry the unmistakable SVETA DNA: glam/rock energy, eclectic detailing, and killer quality, all Made in Italy.
Every piece is designed using precious fabrics - silk, cashmere, alpaca and beyond - for the conscious, empowered woman who’s done with fast fashion, bored of the ordinary, and ready to wear clothes that become part of her story.
ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Sveta Sotnikova - founder, creative director, eternal rebel.
Born in Russia, Sveta’s fashion journey began as a model for some of the industry’s biggest brands. But the runway wasn’t enough - she wanted to design clothes that carried the same power and allure she felt on set. After graduating from Istituto Marangoni in Milan, she launched SVETA MILANO in 2019.
The name “Sveta” - given to her by close friends and now embraced by the fashion industry - reflects her personal approach: dynamic, fearless, and unapologetically authentic.
Her aesthetic is a modern interpretation of femininity: comfortable silhouettes with an edge, built from a conscious fusion of glamour and rock rebellion. Loved by international buyers and press, her work is known for its ability to feel both gentle and strong — just like the women who wear it.
ABOUT OUR MOOD
The SVETA MILANO woman is sensual, joyful, and fiercely independent. She wears her confidence like armour - whether she’s at a midnight party, a music festival, or walking into a meeting.
Our pieces are designed to move - fluid in volume, alive in texture - because femininity is not static. It’s in the way fabric catches light, the way a hem flirts with the rhythm of a walk, the way a silhouette commands attention.
